The short version
The birth details you type — dates, times, places and names — are used only by the calculation code running inside your own browser. They are never transmitted to us, never written to a database, and never shared with anyone. Close the tab and they are gone.
What we collect
Panchang Darpan has no user accounts, no login and no server-side storage of anything you enter. Every horoscope, kundli, festival date and matching score on this site is computed locally in JavaScript on your device.
Standard web-server logs may record your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested, as is normal for any website. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.
Your chosen rashi and city are saved in your browser’s local storage so that returning to the site opens on your own sign. That data stays on your device, is never transmitted, and is cleared whenever you clear your browser’s site data.
Cookies and advertising
This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
